Today was a day of Recollection \nand Revelation. Our morning and our afternoon mirrored each other\u2026 Input\n from our Plenary, a time of personal prayer, sharing in our small \ngroups, and then sharing our graces from our prayer and spiritual \nconversation back in our plenary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our morning was a time to imagine ourselves walking beside Jesus, \nlooking together to the path we have walked in these last days: our \npersonal graces, our history line, our day of immersion, meeting with \nFr. General Sosa, and our Open Day together with the broader CLC \ncommunity from abroad and locally. Then we were to be open to an image, a\n sound, a taste of these last days to present to our Assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our afternoon we were then asked to pray upon and name the grace \nthat our CLC World Community has been given since it\u2019s inception and new\n identity 50 years ago. You can see in the photo for this Day there were\n many graces offered in our circle\u2026. Poverty, Fraternity, Community, \nMission\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All of our communal exercises are oriented through a spirit of \ncommunal discernment\u2026 in seeking to discover who we are in this day in \nour world as a CLC community. Our discernment is being led by the group \nESDAC (Exercices Spirituels pour un Discernment Apostolique en Commun). \nAll of us are very prayerful. In our rich plenary sharing the \nco-ordinators cannot keep up with all of our desires to speak about our \nprayer and interior movements (they have to pass us the microphone to \nspeak!). It is often hard to say where we are being led through all of \nour prayer. But we are trusting in the spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday evening I had the blessing of concelebrating Mass and \noffering the reflection, in which I shared my experience of someone in \nmy life who knew how to name the realities and graces of his life &#8211; both\n Consolations and Desolations &#8211; and of the necessity of this in planting\n the seeds of our CLC vocations deeply and receptively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We then ended our day with a meeting of all the North American \nrepresentatives to get to know one another better\u2026 followed by a festive\n drink in our \u2018cafe\u2019 where Michelle was filled with stories to the \ndelight of many around the table:)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also pray for Jennifer Gardner, the President of CLC Australia, \nwho was hospitalized.
